Tomcat

Extracts information from the database to be used in the Tomcat application. The scripts can be found under the path applicationDataPrep/tomcatInput.py.

• output: path to the directory where the output will be saved.

How it works

Extracts tags for every animal species and makes a file for each species with the name speciesName_observations.csv. The file holds every tag that was ever recorded for the species. In addition, the file sessionInfo.csv is created, which holds all session names where a species was observed. It holds all necessary information for a session, in addition to the ecological location number. This means, that if two sessions hold the same number, they should be seen as one session in the tomcat anaylsis. This is the case when two camera traps are set up as a pair, capturing the same individuals.
